Serve All and Play Ball!

Our Sunday Baseball Program is free to anyone who wants to join. In lieu of a 'fee', we ask every kid signing up for Coach Scot Baseball to participate in a community service project or perform organized social responsibility on Roosevelt Island or in their own neighborhood. Events we have participated in as a group include: 'Plogging', which is cleaning up while jogging, hosting tables/booths at the island's Halloween festival, and volunteering with iDig2Learn. The kids very much take pride in their participation, learn lessons, and have fun.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Plogging !

What: Plogging is light walking or jogging around the neighborhood and collecting litter. Upon return, the litter is separated into recyclable and landfill bins. We learn, get exercise, and clean up our community!

When: Meetup on Sundays at 2pm

Where: Near the bell at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd.

RSVP?: Just show up!
